Some of our seniors in Biology II headed to Lake Charles, La on Friday to visit McNeese State University’s Biology department. Students were able to participate in a DNA Extraction lab with Dr. Connie Kersten, a long-time favorite professor at McNeese. Following the lab, Mrs. Ancelet and her students headed over to Bayou Escape Rooms. #mcneese #sciencelabs #bayouescaperooms

On Tuesday, 4/8/25, our Senior Baseball players were honored for Senior Night! Angel R., Cooper L., Destin G., Kainon S., Mark F., and Rylan F. Congratulations to the Wolves for winning over Loreauville 10-1. The Wolves head to LCA on Monday, 4/14 for their last regular season game before playoffs! 💜🐺⚾

Parents and members of the community are invited to attend our Senior Fair and Art Show on May 2nd! Visitors can report directly to the N. Gym to sign in. The N. Gym/Senior parking lot will be reserved for visitors. We hope to see you there!

Congratulations to our Senior Lady Wolves who were honored on Senior Night this past Wednesday, 4/9/25: Kamryn T., Zoey T., Raleigh D., Hayden C., Ja'Miyah W., Amylah G., Tatum H., and Avani M. The Lady Wolves claimed victory over ARCA with a final score of 17-7. They head to Mamou on Monday, 4/14/25 for their last regular game of the season before starting their playoff run. 💜🐺🥎

Happy Assistant Principals Week! We appreciate our assistant principals for all they do!

‼️Here is a look at our LEAP testing schedule for this year! Please help us have a successful testing week by ensuring you are here on your scheduled test day(s)‼️ Things to note: 📌On testing days, students should make every effort to be present and arrive on time, be alert, and be well-rested. 📌Students enrolled in LEAP courses received testing tickets from their teachers telling them where to report on testing day. 📌Students scheduled to test in the N. Gym should report directly to the CAFETERIA on the mornings of testing after the 7:25 bell for test check-in procedures (including placing all personal items into a book bag to be secured in a separate room during testing.) This weekend, Acadia JOY hosted their 2nd Prom and several of our students were in attendance! Thank you to the parents , educators, and volunteers for creating a great evening for these students! Also, A HUGE thank to the sponsors who made it all possible!

Raising Canes for Raising Grades! 📈 Thanks to Ms. Sue Girouard with Jostens, our students who earned a GPA of 3.5 and above for the first 3 9-weeks were treated to lunch on Thursday, 4/3/25. We love seeing students get rewarded for their academic achievements! Keep it up!

School Librarians play such an important role in the success of our school! We would be lost without Mrs. Romero! 💜
