We are beyond proud of our students for SURPASSING our February Beanstack Reading Challenge goal of 120,000 minutes! šŸŽ‰šŸ“š

Not only did our students meet the challenge… they went above and beyond by dedicating their time to reading each and every day. Their commitment to growing as readers continues to amaze us!

February’s challenge encouraged students to log their minutes consistently while also exploring books by Black authors, learning about influential leaders, and diving into powerful stories connected to Black History Month. Seeing our students engage with meaningful literature while building strong reading habits has been incredible.

This accomplishment shows what happens when our Wolves set a goal and work together to achieve it! šŸŗšŸ’Ŗ

We are so proud of the momentum we are building through Beanstack and cannot wait to see what our students accomplish next month.

Keep reading, Wolves! šŸ“–āœØ

šŸ“ššŸŗ January was a HUGE month for literacy at our campus! We launched a brand new reading initiative through Beanstack and saw a record number of books checked out from the RHS Library. Our students are showing up for reading, and we love to see it!

Our ongoing program, Readers of the Pack, has been going strong, and while this announcement is a little late, we are excited to announce our January Reader of the Pack, Savannah D.! šŸŽ‰šŸ‘

Readers of the Pack is proudly sponsored by the RHS PTO, and each winner receives a $20 gift card to a local bookstore. šŸ“–šŸ’³ Every time a student checks out a book from the RHS Library, they are entered into the raffle, so the more you read, the more chances you have to win! 🤩

We are so proud of our Wolves for making reading a priority and can’t wait to see who will be February’s Reader of the Pack! Keep turning those pages, Wolves! šŸ“ššŸ’œšŸ’›

šŸ“šŸ”Our Honors Geometry students were on the move with a Polygon Angle Scavenger Hunt around the classroom! Students moved around the room solving problems with a variety of polygons and using equations to find missing angle measures. This hands on activity helped strengthen their understanding of interior and exterior angles while keeping them engaged and thinking critically. We love seeing our students learning through movement and problem solving!šŸ§ āœļø

Please continue to encourage your students to read each day. Every minute counts! šŸ“–āœØ

Our students experienced history beyond the textbook by walking through immersive exhibits, hearing powerful personal stories, exploring real artifacts, and engaging with interactive displays.
