On Saturday, three of our Cross Country runners, along with their coach, Ms. Boutin, competed in the Vermilion River 10-Mile run. Sam W. placed 1st in his age group, while Ashton M. placed 3rd. Carson R. and Ms. B both placed 2nd in their age groups. It was a brutally satisfying experience and hot chocolate was definitely needed after. This past weekend, the Rayne High Student Council Executive Board enjoyed the 73rd Louisiana Association of Student Councils annual convention. This year, Northwood High School in Shreveport hosted over 1,000 young leaders from around the state. Abby D., Amylah G., Ethan S., and Evan G. all conducted Student Led Exchanges. Landon F. concluded his year as LASC District V President while Mrs. Theresa Simoneaux continues to serve as District V Advisor. Also attending this weekend were Reggi C. and advisor Kaitlyn Barron.
