Students and faculty who completed the RHS Library's "Stacks on Stacks" Reading Challenge were invited to a reward party in early May. Every participant who read 10 or more books this school year received a t-shirt, goody bag with various items depending on their total number of books read, and were entered into a drawing for book related prizes. If you ask any of her students to describe Ms. Boutin they will use words such as supportive, inspiring, welcoming, kind, passionate, challenging, amazing, and special. We can confirm 1000% she is all of these wonderful things and more and is recognized as this year’s Rayne High School Teacher of the Year. Ms. Boutin teaches English IV and Business English. In addition, she sponsors Rayne, Alive!, our student produced media program, and Interact Club, partnered with the Rayne Rotary Club, both of which work to foster pride and unity at our school and in our community. She has also implemented the Senior Project Fair the past two years - providing an opportunity for our students to further develop important academic, career, and life skills. She has accomplished much in her time on this campus, and we know she will only continue to accomplish even more great things in the future ahead. She is, always has been, and always will be, a Wolf through and through.
