Rayne High Schoolās Drama Club is proud to present āLittle Womenā by Louisa May Alcott, adapted by Scott Davidson, and produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc., Englewood, Colorado, as its spring production this year. This production features a cast of 10 eager and excited high school students taking on this āplummyā play.
Little Women, as told by Alcott, is a coming-of-age novel that tells the tale of the March sistersā trials and tribulations in 1800s Massachusetts. The quartet struggle to find their true selves as well as handle the real life issues that come their way throughout the book. The Davidson production, while not a full retelling of the novel, features many of the bookās pivotal moments and strives to hold true to the story overall of the March family.
āLittle Womenā takes the stage at Rayne High Schoolās North Gym on Friday, April 26, at 7 p.m. and again Sunday, April 28, at 3 p.m. Tickets are $15 for one, $25 for two, and are on sale now through Eventbrite, club sponsor Jeannine LeJeune-Gotte (via RHS), or from a cast member.
