šŸ’»LEAP Testing begins at RHS tomorrow, Wednesday, April 15th.

We wanted to share a few important reminders:
🟣 All students will report directly to the N. Gym upon arriving to school and then will be dismissed accordingly.
🟣 All students taking LEAP courses were given testing tickets today with their test name, test date, and testing room location by their LEAP teachers. If students were absent today or misplace their ticket, a list will be posted in the N. Gym each morning with testing locations for that day.
🟣 This year LEAP Testers will break and eat lunch before their last testing session each day.
🟣 Senior Core classes, VRT edgenuity courses, and Study Skills will be uninterrupted and will proceed with normal instruction.
🟣 Normal dress code is expected during testing.

We are so proud of the work our students and teachers have put in this year! As long as our students show up with a positive attitude and put forth their best effort, we have no doubt we will see great scores.

On testing days, students are encouraged to wake up a little earlier than normal and to arrive on time in order to be ready to test. Good luck!

Today is National School Librarian Day! We are so appreciative of all Mrs. Gabrielle Romero’s efforts to improve our school! From leading our successful launch of the Beanstack literacy program for the whole school, providing a variety of opportunities for our students to utilize our library resources, to overseeing our technology and media needs - she is truly a leader within our pack that makes a difference every single day! For Student Council Week, our leaders decided to crown the real Queens of the Kitchen. Our cafeteria staff works tirelessly to keep us fed and happy, and it was high time we gave them the royal treatment they deserve! Thank you for being the heart (and the heat!) of our school. āœØšŸŗšŸ’œšŸ’›

This is just a courtesy reminder that Rayne High School does not officially sponsor or sanction any school dances. The upcoming Prom event being held at The Warehouse on April 18th at 6:00 pm is a private event being coordinated by members of the Junior class. While we do allow our students to sell tickets during lunch, we want to be clear that Rayne High School and/or Acadia Parish Schools have no authority, jurisdiction or liability over privately hosted events.
