On Friday, November 7th, Rayne High School proudly hosted our annual Veterans Reception to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. From morning coffee and student presentations to a delicious gumbo lunch, it was a special day filled with gratitude, stories, and respect.

Today, on Veterans Day, we pause once more to say thank you to every Veteran for your courage, sacrifice, and service. We are forever grateful. 💜💛🐺

Recently Mrs. Ancelet and Mrs. Cramer took a group of students to the Health Museum in Houston! They were able to tour the famous Body Worlds exhibit, view a sheep brain dissection and visit the rest of the museum which had a life sized colon and heart, amongst other displays of human anatomy. What an incredible experience in science! 🥼🧠🫁🫀🧬🔬🧫

🟣Attention Seniors: The last chance to order a cap & gown for graduation is Thursday, November 13th at both lunches. Bring your order form & deposit. All orders after this date will not be guaranteed to be delivered for graduation and will have rush fees attached.

🟣Juniors: It is not too late to order a ring and have it ready in time for the Ring ceremony. Bring your order form & deposit.

🟣Anyone that has already placed an order with Jostens and would like to make a payment toward their balance may also do so at that time.

Attendance and Discipline numbers are in for the month of October! Congratulations to the JUNIORS for jumping from 4th place to 2nd place in the number of students with perfect attendance and congratulations to the SOPHOMORES for jumping from 3rd to 1st in the number of students with no referrals!
But the class coming in 1st place who will continue to cut the lunch line for the month of November is the SENIORS!

🎃Check out the fun that these students had yesterday! The RHS Science Club had a great time exploding pumpkins as part of their November meeting. Students learned how mix the right chemicals to get the pumpkins to explode.

Today we celebrated our 2nd Annual Trick-or-Treat hosted by the RHS Student Council! 🧡👻

Several clubs and community members joined in to help make this event a huge success. We loved welcoming the Central Rayne Kindergarten students for some Halloween fun filled with games, candy, and smiles! 🎃💜💛

For our last regular season home game and Senior Night, We’re laying the Patriots to rest — so Seniors dress in White and Underclassmen dress in BLACK as we say R.I.P. Patriots! 🪦
